ABOUT SMALLYCOMIC

Smallycomic tells everyday stories with a simple, charming visual style — capturing the small joys of life, one panel at a time.

Many of my comics are inspired by food — from Hong Kong street snacks to café culture, and the unexpected flavors I discover while living in Germany. I enjoy documenting life through the lens of my character “Small Y,” who adds humor and sincerity to every story.

With a soft yellow color palette and a clean, cute drawing style, my work blends cultural observations, emotions, and a sense of warmth.

小Y漫畫致力於用可愛又簡潔的筆觸，記錄生活裡那些讓人會心微笑的片刻。

作品靈感來自日常觀察，特別喜歡描繪與食物有關的故事 —— 不論是街頭美食、特色餐廳、還是在德國生活中遇見的異國口味，都是我想分享的生活片段。

畫風以溫暖的黃色為主調，風格簡約清新，配合漫畫角色小Y的視角，把文化、情感與幽默交織成一頁頁輕鬆易讀、富有共鳴的作品。

My food illustrations blend the playful storytelling of Smallycomic with a deep affection for Hong Kong’s culinary culture.

From classic street snacks to comfort foods and cross-cultural dishes I’ve discovered while living in Germany, each piece is drawn with vibrant colors, bold textures, and a touch of humor.

Whether it’s recreating real meals or drawing imagined mashups, I aim to capture the warmth, nostalgia, and everyday joy behind every bite.

I’ve also collaborated with restaurants to create illustrated menus and food-themed visuals — because sometimes, we eat with our eyes first.

我的美食插畫結合了可愛的角色、小Y漫畫的故事語氣，以及對香港地道風味的觀察與熱愛。

無論是街頭小食、港式中菜，還是在德國生活時遇見的異國料理，我都用色彩豐富的筆觸和輕鬆的漫畫語調，把每一道菜背後的情感與記憶畫出來。

我也曾為餐廳設計菜單與推廣插畫，期望用插畫讓觀眾「眼睛先吃一口」。
